Director of Total Quality Deployment deploys total quality operational excellence policies and programs within an organization.     Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, the Sr Director of Total Rewards will be a key member of the People & Places leadership team and responsible for defining and executing our compensation and benefits strategies to attract, support and reward amazing talent.  


    In this role, you’ll build on the existing total rewards foundation and set the strategic direction to take our total rewards programs to the next level.  


    The ideal candidate will have a passion for partnering with the business on total rewards needs, driving results in a fast-paced environment via both leadership guidance and hands-on execution, and developing and leading a high performing team.

    Responsibilities
    • Total Rewards Strategy:  Define the strategy and periodically assess the company’s total rewards philosophy to ensure continued alignment with business priorities and company values.  Evaluate market trends and recommend applicability of new/innovative approaches.
    • Compensation Management: Design and manage competitive base pay, incentive, equity, and recognition programs in support of business needs and company values.  Ensure pay parity.  Provide leadership and guidance to the compensation team in managing the annual rewards process, including program and budget development, tools and communications.  In partnership with the Chief People Officer, develop recommendations on executive compensation and provide related Compensation Committee support as needed.
    • Benefits Management: Ensure benefits offerings across the globe remain competitive and meet the diverse needs of our employees, including health, welfare, retirement, time-off, wellbeing initiatives and other offerings.  Provide leadership and guidance to the benefits team on benefit plan renewals, open enrollment management, and benefit plan design for new countries.  Serve as Chair for the US 401(k) Plan Committee.
    • Business Consultation: Provide compensation & benefits expertise and advice to leadership, the People team and other stakeholders.  Lead or advise on cross-functional projects, such as M&As and Workday HR system enhancements.
    • Employee Engagement:  Develop communication and education strategies for management, employees, candidates and other stakeholders that enhance understanding and appreciation of total rewards offerings.  Collaborate with People Business Partners and L&D teams to integrate total rewards programs with performance management processes and talent development initiatives.
    • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant country laws and statutes governing compensation and benefits programs; recommend and execute appropriate courses of action to comply with existing or pending regulations.
    • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and inspire a high-performing Total Rewards team, providing mentorship, coaching, and development opportunities.  Establish a compelling vision and expectations for the function and instill a culture of continuous program and process improvement. 


    Qualifications
    • Deep global compensation and benefits expertise with demonstrated leadership experience fostering highly effective, globally dispersed teams; experience in AI, SaaS, or other high-tech environment highly desired.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions with senior leadership and to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.
    • Excellent analytical capabilities, including the ability to identify market gaps and risks and devise recommendations to address.
    • Strong business partnership, a holistic systems thinker, and a continuous improvement orientation; excellent attention to detail and follow through.
    • Hands-on team player and driver, who is equally effective and passionate about determining the strategic roadmap and ensuring execution against that plan.
    • Strong knowledge of US state and federal laws pertaining to compensation and benefits; working knowledge of global regulations. 
    • Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and good judgment. 
    • Prior experience with Workday HRMS and Advanced Compensation modules highly desired.

    $219,500 - $301,850 a year
    The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
