    Synaptics is looking for a Senior Director of our Total Rewards organization who will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our organization's compensation, benefits and people technology strategy. You will lead a team responsible for maintaining the foundation and operations of the HR organization as well as developing and implementing innovative and competitive total rewards programs that attract, retain, and engage our employees. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, staying current with industry trends, and ensuring our offerings align with our company's goals and values.  This position reports to the Chief People Officer.

    The typical base pay range for this position is USD $196,000 - $308,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, equity, and other benefits. Note that compensation listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

    Responsibilities

    Job Duties

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive total rewards strategy aligned with the organization's overall business objectives
    • Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, including collaborating with leadership to design executive compensation plans and equity-based incentives; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to executive compensation
    • Utilize data analytics to gather insights, make data-driven decisions, and measure the effectiveness of total rewards programs
    • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing total rewards team; act a mentor and coach
    • Educate employees and managers on the organization's total rewards programs, ensuring transparency and understanding
    • Drive the adoption of our HR organization process improvements through accountability and high expectations for excellence
    • Partner effectively with the HRBP team to ensure alignment and relevance of programs to all business groups; foster a continuous feedback loop to support effective communication

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent
    • PHR or SPHR designation, desired
    • 15 years of progressively responsible relevant HR experience; 8 in leadership roles
    • Demonstrated track record in building high performing teams
    • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a quick moving and change oriented environment
    • Advanced communication skills including written, verbal, listening and presentation, also including data integrity and analytical mindset
    • Good judgment, problem solving, decision-making, and influence skills are critical
    • Strong understanding of relevant employment laws and regulatory rules
    • A great teammate who is passionate about developing and being part of a high functioning team and company; demonstrated experience building a great team culture
