Director of Total Quality Deployment deploys total quality operational excellence policies and programs within an organization.     Overview

    In this exciting new role, you will report to the Chief People Strategy Officer (CPSO), and be responsible for the strategic design, direction, and operation of our Total Rewards Center of Excellence.  As a global partner and advisor, you will work collaboratively with other members of HR and with business leaders to design, implement, and manage comprehensive total rewards programs that attract, differentiate, engage, reward, and retain top talent.

     

    We are open to considering the following for this position: if you live locally near our Bridgewater, NJ headquarters you can choose to work primarily from home and are expected to come on-site when requested or required for a meeting and/or event.  We will also consider out of state candidates who would generally travel overnight for certain meetings or events in Bridgewater or to our other sites as needed.

    Responsibilities

    • Strengthen the visibility, creativity, partnerships, and strategic value of the Total Rewards Center of Excellence and drive Insmed’s pay for performance philosophy.
    • Oversee the global design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, including base salary, bonuses, and equity plans, to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Oversee the design and management of employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other fringe benefits.
    • Design, implement, and manage innovative employee recognition programs to drive employee engagement and retention.
    • Continuously monitor and analyze global market trends, industry benchmarks, and compensation practices to ensure that our total reward programs remain competitive and relevant.
    • Responsible for all Total Rewards communications to ensure that employees and candidates understand and value Insmed’s robust Total Rewards programs and platforms and that leaders are appropriately equipped to reinforce these programs.
    • Oversee and manage relationships with external partners, consultants, and vendors to optimize the delivery of compensation and benefits services.
    • Co-leads the bi-annual promotion process, evaluating employee growth and organizational needs to ensure transparent and fair opportunities are available for employees.
    • Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions, provide insights, and track the effectiveness of total reward programs.
    • Working with the CPSO, manage complex executive compensation cycles and program metrics.
    • Working closely with employment counsel, responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations/ governing bodies including DOL, FLSA, pay equity, pay transparency, and all laws that impact Total Rewards.
    • Collaborates closely with HR Business Partner team to understand organizational needs and local/functional nuances; proactively communicates and seeks input on new programs and offerings.
    • Build and lead a high-performing global Total Rewards team.
    • Manages assigned budget on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree and 15 years of relevant experience
    • 12 years of experience in Total Rewards
    • 6 years of experience in global compensation design, planning and execution inclusive of equity programs.
    • 6 years of experience in global benefits design and administration.
    • 5 years in the biotech/pharma sector.
    • 5 years of proven experience building, evaluating, and leading teams and projects.
    • Able to design and implement a strategic approach to Total Rewards.
    • Ability to work, lead, and exhibit within Insmed’s core values of Collaboration, Accountability, Passion, Respect, Integrity.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written). 
    • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy, and conciseness. 
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Demonstrated ability to work and thrive in a dynamic and culturally diverse workplace.

    Travel Requirements

    Domestic and/or international travel required (10%)

    Salary Range

    Insmed takes into consideration a combination of candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required in the role, and external market and internal value when determining a salary level for potential new employees. The base salary range for this job is from $230,000.00 to $323,333.00 per year
