Position Summary

The Director of Deployment will execute the roll out of the IONNA high-powered charging network.  The successful candidate will lead the project management team that will be responsible for the deployment of charging stations and accompanying amenities.  They will implement necessary processes and controls to achieve on time and on budget KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop operations for the deployment and execution for DC fast charging installations and related amenities through site preparation, feasibility assessments, installation, construction and commissioning
• Accountable for achieving construction budgets and schedules; tracking all project costs, approving contractor and vendor requests costs and mitigating potential change orders
• Develop project deployment processes, controls and systems to ensure the scalability of the Deployment team
• Work closely with suppliers & other industry leaders to design, price, and procure all items required to complete the installation of charging sites at scale
• Formulate opinions and recommendations based on factual data from the industry
• Execute a standard execution model for deployment across site appraisal, network planning, procurement, installation, construction and commissioning/launch
• Coordinate key project management process to maintain the EV roll out in an efficient and controlled manner
• Ensure a smooth handoff to Service Operations after commissioning to drive industry-leading uptime

Skills and Experience

• 7 years in Design and Construction of EV Charging fast charging sites
• Demonstrated background in leading charging network deployment
• Proven track record in strategic planning of DC Fast Charging deployment across multiple regional processes, AHJs, and utilities.
• Detailed understanding of the current public fast charging landscape
• Exceptional communication and project management skills to effectively progress discussions with important stakeholders
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or equivalent
