Director of International Education leads and directs all aspects of the institution's international programs. Oversees programs, activities, faculty affairs, and academic support services. Being a Director of International Education develops and implements strategies to attract and retain students and faculty. Oversees the operations of the study abroad and foreign exchange programs, the international admissions process, and English language programs. Additionally, Director of International Education ensures that the curriculum remains current and is in compliance with accreditation standards. Monitors the documentation and visa application processes. Oversees the departmental budget and management of expenditures throughout the year. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Director of International Education typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Job Summary
Darling is seeking a Director - International Tax to join the corporate Tax Department at its world headquarters. This critical department provides tax compliance, accounting guidance and strategic tax planning for all businesses.
The role will have a high level of responsibility initiating, leading and implementing projects and processes related to the Company's international structure. In addition, they will work closely with the Senior Director - International Tax and Chief Tax Officer as well as outside tax advisors in developing and implementing projects which will cover a wide array of tax matters including: tax reporting processes (e.g., accounting for income taxes, Sarbanes-Oxley, tax packages, etc.), foreign tax credits, subpart F, global intangible low-taxed income, foreign derived intangible income, business and legal entity acquisitions/restructurings, and transfer pricing. This position will have a high degree of exposure with senior management at the corporate headquarters as well as business and finance leaders around the world.
