Director of International Education leads and directs all aspects of the institution's international programs. Oversees programs, activities, faculty affairs, and academic support services. Being a Director of International Education develops and implements strategies to attract and retain students and faculty. Oversees the operations of the study abroad and foreign exchange programs, the international admissions process, and English language programs. Additionally, Director of International Education ensures that the curriculum remains current and is in compliance with accreditation standards. Monitors the documentation and visa application processes. Oversees the departmental budget and management of expenditures throughout the year. Requires a bachelor's degree. As the new Associate Director, Talent Management, you will have a focus on training, development and overall talent management. You will play a critical role in shaping our organization's talent strategy and ensuring our employees' continuous growth and development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and department leaders, to design and implement effective employee development programs that align with our business objectives. As deputy to the Chief Human Resources Officer, you will also help lead the HR department forward through innovation, operations and customer focus. What You’ll Do:
Collaboratively work with internal stakeholders to develop and implement an employee training strategy aligned with the company's goals, values, and development needs, with an initial focus on management development.
Training Program Design and Delivery: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs, including onboarding, leadership development, technical skills training, and power skills development, utilizing a variety of delivery methods (e.g., in-person, virtual, e-learning).
Performance Coaching: Provide guidance and activate managers and support employees on continuous feedback, performance improvement and career development.
Talent Development: Develop talent management strategies and career progression frameworks.
Learning Culture: Foster a culture of continuous learning and development by promoting learning initiatives, creating communities of practice, sharing best practices and enhancing internal communications.
Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure HR work complies with legal and regulatory requirements aligned with best practices.
HR Innovation: Research, propose, and implement HR projects to innovate the HR department’s services for employees, managers, and teachers.
HR Operations: Support the oversight, delivery and accountability of HR operational functions, with a focus on positive candidate recruitment and the employee experience.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
8 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
Prior experience leading training and development initiatives.
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques.
Experience designing and implementing blended learning solutions, utilizing various delivery methods and technologies.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of HR best practices, laws, and regulations.
Talent management experience starting with recruitment throughout the full employee life cycle.
Prior experience in a growing, mission-driven organization preferred.
Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a big plus.
