Director of International Education leads and directs all aspects of the institution's international programs. Oversees programs, activities, faculty affairs, and academic support services. Being a Director of International Education develops and implements strategies to attract and retain students and faculty. Oversees the operations of the study abroad and foreign exchange programs, the international admissions process, and English language programs. Additionally, Director of International Education ensures that the curriculum remains current and is in compliance with accreditation standards. Monitors the documentation and visa application processes. Oversees the departmental budget and management of expenditures throughout the year. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Director of International Education typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. We are currently seeking a Regional Director of Career Services to join our team. In this position you will function as a member of IEC’s Career Services vertical, providing leadership for meeting the IEC Career Services goals and objectives. These are to include, but not limited to achieving the accreditation placement standards for each program, the IEC Extern to Hire goals, overall minimum productivity level at each of the region’s campuses as well as contributing to company-wide career services special projects and initiatives. The Regional Director of Career Services is responsible for recruitment, training and development of assigned Directors of Career Services, and may be asked to mentor other Directors and managers in the Region and throughout IEC. This position will support campus locations in Central and Northern CA and Tacoma, WA and will be based in one of the Pacific Region's campuses.
