Job Summary:

Oversee the maintenance and development of our GIS systems, ensuring high-quality mapping products and services for our organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments, managing GIS databases and servers, and providing technical support to users

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer all aspects of ArcGIS Server, Portal, and ArcGIS Online, including performance monitoring, service configuration, security, and licensing.
• Work with GIS professionals, collaborating and providing leadership to optimize team performance and achieve organizational goals.
• Support GIS integration with other enterprise systems and departments.
• Stay current with emerging GIS technologies and best practices.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, or related field. Master’s degree or GIS certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in GIS work, with expertise in ESRI ArcGIS products and platforms

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Access and Excel.
• Strong technical background and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the employee works in an office setting, at an individual work station, using telephone and computer

Physical Demands:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer/copy machine
• This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
• The person in this position frequently communicates via telephone
