Job Summary/Description:
KKTV 11 News is seeking an innovative Creative Services Director with excellent image and brand building skills to grow brand and audiences on all screens. Candidate must be an expert visual storyteller with strong skills in writing, cinematography and Adobe Creative Suite editing programs. This individual is a hands-on producer, with knowledge of digital and social media marketing trends and platforms to enhance all for one of the country's strongest local television brands – KKTV 11 News.
The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
* Develop and execute KKTV’s annual marketing plan, including brand promotion and advertising campaigns for broadcast, digital and live events
* Responsible for marketing strategies and brand management, growing audience share and brand footprint on all screens
* Lead a team of highly qualified creative professionals
* Showcase exceptional video production skills, including writing, directing, cinematography, editing and motion graphic design
* Exhibit a high level of organization and time management to ensure the timely delivery of projects
* Develop and facilitate partnerships with local organizations/events
* Candidate will lead/coordinate efforts on the development of compelling campaigns for our local/regional sales clients
* Candidate must have a solid grasp of budgeting for all aspects of the creative services team
* Candidate will work closely with the General Manager and all station managers
* Candidate will be a working manager with the ability to shoot and edit commercials and station promos from preproduction to post production.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Candidate must be a excellent leader, coach, and trainer with a proven track record in a television station marketing environment
* Candidate will be an effective communicator who will foster a vibrant and positive work environment
* Candidate must be an expert visual storyteller with strong skills in writing, cinematography and Adobe Creative Suite editing programs. This individual is a hands-on producer, with knowledge of digital and social media marketing trends and platforms.
* Candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a media company environment
* Candidate will have a strong experience with organizing and archiving files within the creative and news department.
* Candidate will have a strong understanding of digital advertising including desktop takeovers, mobile take overs, and pre-roll promotions.
* Candidate must have a strong background in various programs such as the Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects/Premiere Pro), Cinema 4D, and Edius.
* Candidate must provide demo reel for consideration
