Director - Stage, Motion Pictures, Television interprets plays and scripts for production. Auditions and identifies performers for roles in specific productions and conducts rehearsals. Being a Director - Stage, Motion Pictures, Television may require an associate's degree or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Director - Stage, Motion Pictures, Television relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Support the Director of Production in managing scene shop staffing as well as oversee the budgeting, drafting, scheduling, and construction of scenery for all productions.
