The Mail Center Specialist position handles all mail processing, including mail pick-up, printing, inserting and delivery to the post office in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain working knowledge of all machines and areas of Mail Center.
• Operate Mail Room machine responsible for the fold, stuff, seal, and post mark of envelopes for mailing.
• Operate printing machines including color printers that print daily output, policy booklets and other print jobs required by users. Print marketing material and business cards as required.
• Assemble printing as each job is complete.
• Sort outgoing mail and operate postage meter. Prepare shipments for U.S. Mail or commercial delivery services.
• Fill supply requisitions for in-house and county offices.
• Receive incoming stock and supplies from loading dock for storage or delivery to in-house customers.
• Complete Mail runs as scheduled.
• Responsible for color print jobs requested by Marketing Department.
• Train Mail Room Clerks as needed.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

 Qualifications

• High School Diploma Required.
• 1-year minimum experience as office services clerk required or its equivalent.
