Position: Direct Mail Marketing Wizard is responsible for consistent management of the direct mail scheduling and calendar. It coordinates dates, deadlines, and print jobs for both in-house and outside lettershops. Negotiates rates and timelines for perfectly efficient execution that never misses a drop date. Will collaborate with digital execution efforts to maintain consistent and growing revenue streams. This position also creates recommendations for each direct mail promotion and communicates these for approval to the President. The goal of this position is to add GPT (Gross Profit Total) to the organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Calendar Management:
o Develop and manage direct mail, and print promotional calendars to ensure consistent execution, growth in revenue and GPT (gross profit total).
2. List Optimization
o Optimize customer lists through segmentation, targeting, and testing to enhance campaign performance and Lifetime Value.
3. Testing and Results Analysis:
o Design and implement testing schedules to beat current controls and increase GPT.
o Analyze test results to refine and enhance future marketing campaigns to maximize GPT.
4. Daily Tracking and Analysis:

o Collaborate with the creative team to develop breakthrough marketing campaigns that create and beat control promotions.
Also, this position is responsible for the entire lifecycle of direct mail and direct marketing products and initiative, from testing and analysis to nationwide rollout campaigns. This position requires a strong working knowledge of data handline, Excel spreadsheets, management of multiple projects at the same time, skill at planning, production, and execution of high-volume, high-mix data-driven direct mail campaigns with multiple imbedded test cells and segments. The ideal candidate will have a complete understanding of print and mail manufacturing and USPS service options. In addition, a focus will be placed on continually reducing the solicitation costs of each direct mail package through negotiations and hyper efficient use of resources, rules, and standards.
