Digital Marketing Specialist
Full Job Description

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for facilitating brand awareness through visual storytelling and by producing consistent, fresh, and relevant creative assets for marketing. This role requires an understanding of marketing, creative insights, and the ability to define our company’s visual identity through graphic and video design.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for all visual needs of Ideal Institute of Technology and our respective Student Enterprises.
• Create social media buzz video for ongoing events, workshops, success stories, in-house productions and the like.
• Design marketing materials, print, PDFs, posters, digital signage, and social media graphics.
• Create visual assets, logos, complex graphics, animation, and live video content for a diverse array of media.
• Updates and Maintains content and graphics on all Boomers Parks websites
• Creates point of sale signage packages and designs newsletters.
• Converts “ideas” from various team members into clear, impactful deliverables.
• Be able to teach/instruct students who enroll in our Adobe Certified program.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• BA/BS in Marketing with an emphasis on Graphic Design, and/or equivalent.
• Three to five years’ experience in marketing, graphic design and video editing.
• Advanced to expert level proficiency in Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator. (Davinci Resolve is a plus, but not required for the job.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining quality of work and meet deadlines for multiple projects. Typically, it's a 1 to 2 day turn around for minor projects.
• Creative thinker, designer and self-motivator.
• Bilingual is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to perform the essential job functions safely and successfully.
• Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone and in public speaking.

Job Type: Full-time, Contract

Starting Pay: $20.00/hr

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Video editing: 2 years (Preferred)
• Adobe Premiere Pro: 2 years (Preferred)
• Graphic Design: 2 years (Preferred)
• Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop: 2 years (Preferred)
• Digital marketing: 2 years (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Pleasantville, NJ: Relocate before starting work (Required)
