We’re looking for a growth-oriented Marketing Manager to create and drive marketing initiatives across all Tripadvisor surfaces. You’ll work alongside teams of marketers, engineers, product managers, data scientists, analysts and designers to conceptualize and execute on campaigns that will deliver the right message at the right time for millions of dedicated travelers seeking guidance as they plan and enjoy the best trips possible. This role will be instrumental in identifying opportunities, scoping project feasibility, forming test strategies, and driving the full cycle of key global marketing tactics across Tripadvisor’s website and native app.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, On-Site Marketing, this cross-functional role will require ownership of projects from start to finish, drafting specs, setting schedules and targets, attending briefings and engineering standups, and contributing to regular communications to stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
Lead multiple initiatives to expand direct engagement with Tripadvisor users across web and mobile surfaces
Be an advocate for marketing on a cross-disciplinary team that is building robust and scalable cross-platform messaging capabilities
Research and collaborate on marketing specs to provide direction and communication around all B2C on-site and in-app messaging projects
Collaborate with marketers, engineers, product managers, analysts and designers to create new user experiences and growth opportunities
Design and run multiple concurrent tests, build reports for communication back to stakeholders, and determine next steps based on input from analytics, finance, and adjacent teams
Maintain a high level of quality control across all active projects
Act as an advocate for new and promising opportunities to drive engagement and revenue with both proven and emerging tactics
Cultivate a strong growth mindset within the team
What you’ll have:
5 years of experience building and managing on-site and in-app marketing campaigns for consumer-facing products or services
Comfortable and productive while working in a multi-disciplinary environment and collaborating with a variety of teams.
Some fluency with software development methodologies and core practices is recommended
Experience using a variety of SaaS marketing platforms and CDP platforms to run campaigns on both desktop and mobile surfaces. Braze and Segment.io experience is preferred.
High-level understanding of core analytics concepts and tools. Comfort level with SQL, Snowflake, and/or Tableau is a plus.
Experience with core growth A/B testing concepts and best practices
Comfort working with a dispersed and largely remote team
Must exhibit superb verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of comfort interpreting results and communicating insights effectively
High level of attention to quality and accountability for the features and products you create
The salary range for this role is $105,000 to $135,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee's pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
