About the Role

The Graphic Design Intern supports the Cinema Support Center (CSC) Marketing team in the execution of MJR programs. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and assists the Graphic Design Coordinator to provide support on a wide range of projects and administrative duties that may include:

• Creation of graphic content 
• Assistance with design work related to marketing initiatives or collateral
• Editing or finalizing images and and graphic design projects
• Create or edit graphic collateral
• Provide support to internal partners (ITS, B2B, etc.) in the execution of marketing initiatives and graphic collateral
• May assist with content or editing related to media campaigns, promotions across sales channels and media platforms as directed
• Format content for MJR media campaigns, promotions, etc. when required
• Ensure internal and external compliance of MJR brand standards and branding materials
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• Working towards Bachelors degree in related field and / or;
• Marketing/Industry experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience 
• Experience in typography and color theory
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, concept development, and principles
• Comprehensive knowledge of Creative Cloud applications is a plus
• Fundamental understanding of photo, video and editing skills using Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop is required
• Familiar with PowerPoint and Microsoft 365 applications
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Team player/collaborative
• Creative and strong attention to detail
