The Digital Marketing and Communications Director is responsible for overseeing the school's digital marketing initiatives, social media presence, website management, and overall communication efforts. This position plays a crucial role in promoting the school's brand, engaging with various stakeholders, and ensuring effective communication across multiple digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
· Digital Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to promote the school's programs, events, and services.
- Analyze and optimize digital marketing campaigns, including paid advertising, email marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO) efforts.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, utilizing data analytics to drive decision-making and optimize strategies.
- Collaborate with the Director of Admissions to create digital campaigns that target prospective students and parents.
· Social Media Marketing:
- Manage the school's social media accounts across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Create and curate engaging content, including text, images, and videos, to build and maintain a strong online presence.
- Develop and execute social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and promote school events and initiatives.
- Monitor and respond to social media interactions, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Utilize social media analytics to track performance and make data-driven decisions.
· Website Management (Webmaster):
- Oversee the school's website, ensuring its content is up-to-date, accurate, and visually appealing.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and publish relevant information on the website.
- Optimize website content and structure for search engine visibility and user experience.
- Monitor website analytics and performance, implementing improvements as needed.
· Communication and Content Creation:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy to ensure consistent and effective messaging across various channels.
- Create and curate content for various platforms, including the school's website, social media, newsletters, and other digital channels.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and disseminate relevant information, news, and updates.
- Coordinate and oversee the production of marketing collateral, such as brochures, flyers, and promotional materials.
- Create and direct a comprehensive publications program that reaches and influences the school’s target audiences.
· Photography/Video:
- Manage and oversee all photography to be able to effectively tell the Saint George’s story.
- Sort and archive all photos.
- Maintain connection with yearbook team.
