Digital Marketing Director develops and implements the digital marketing strategy and leads tactical operations to increase product demand, enhance sales, identify additional sales channels, attract traffic to the company website, and promote an online presence. Utilizes search engine optimization (SEO) analytics and search engine marketing (SEM) techniques to increase traffic to the website. Being a Digital Marketing Director leads the development, curation, and deployment of compelling content to attract, engage and retain visitors and promote sales. Employs social media, email, and mobile marketing campaigns. Additionally, Digital Marketing Director reviews online statistics, marketplace trends, and best practices to optimize online marketing performance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Digital Marketing Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.   • Overview

    The Marketing Digital Specialist is responsible for design, creation, and management of daily digital marketing efforts.  Additionally,  the Marketing Digital Specialist analyzes the results of campaigns and makes recommendations for improvement for future campaigns to help achieve long and short-term Credit Union goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with Marketing Data Analyst to execute email marketing communication including maintaining the email marketing interface. Responsibilities include subscriber maintenance, design, HTML customization, and email content management.
    • Have a detailed knowledge and understanding of the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 to protect Idaho Central Credit Union and its assets.
    • Design, build, and manage custom emails that adhere to the regulations defined in the CAN-SPAM Act 2003 and are effective across all devices, i.e., PCs, Tablets,
    • Smartphones and other mobile devices.
    • Help build and manage email marketing campaigns, including triggered and non-triggered automation programs.
    • Ensure proper deliverability of email communication and maintenance of subscriber relationships/data daily.
    • Continually test various email designs to optimize the user-experience as well as stay current on all digital marketing trends.
    • Ensure our processes are followed for creating, approving, and sending email campaigns.
    • Distribute data and present recommendations for new opportunities within membership.
    • Work with department to identify opportunities for optimization of marketing campaigns and provide recommendations.
    • Competitor research and evaluation.
    • Represent the Credit Union at community events as needed.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Advertising, or a related field. 1-5 years of experience with email marketing database marketing preferred. MCIF and/or CRM experience is also helpful. Math skills, Secondary-level computer knowledge including Microsoft Office. Desktop publishing skills including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.

     

    Performance Standard:

    A demonstrated cooperative and positive attitude toward members and other Credit Union staff. Professional in appearance, attendance, quality, and quantity of work performed. Ability to analyze member needs, develop, and coordinate marketing activities to fit member needs with Credit Union products and services. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union. Team member will be asked to work extended/unique hours.

     

    Position Specific Additional Physical Requirements:

    • Lifting 70-80 pounds (items include money machine, coolers, tables, and other miscellaneous equipment).
    • Local travel, where a company vehicle is provided.
    • Adequate auto insurance for driving while conducting company business.
    • Maintain a valid driver’s license.

     

    Physical Requirements:

    • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
    • Sit for extended periods of time.
    • Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
    • Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
    • Reach keyboards.
    • Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
