Digital Marketing Director develops and implements the digital marketing strategy and leads tactical operations to increase product demand, enhance sales, identify additional sales channels, attract traffic to the company website, and promote an online presence. Utilizes search engine optimization (SEO) analytics and search engine marketing (SEM) techniques to increase traffic to the website. Being a Digital Marketing Director leads the development, curation, and deployment of compelling content to attract, engage and retain visitors and promote sales. Employs social media, email, and mobile marketing campaigns. Additionally, Digital Marketing Director reviews online statistics, marketplace trends, and best practices to optimize online marketing performance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Digital Marketing Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.   • POSITION SUMMARY:


    The Digital Marketing Coordinator will be a key member of the marketing team which collaborates to generate new leads and expand sales opportunities. This position will report the Marketing and Events Manager and will be responsible for all social media and content marketing efforts. Additionally, this position will help create and develop web-based campaigns, manage and track online initiatives, including website updates and site development as well as mass communications using e-mail. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will coordinate customer and enthusiast engagement programs – i.e. the Piper Brand Ambassador Program.


    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


    • Oversee and manage lead nurturing activities for digital channels.
    • Help plan and execute all email nurturing campaigns using marketing management software including the creation of related assets such as landing pages and forms.
    • Provide reports and analysis on campaign performance using various analytics tools.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team on growth strategies and persona development.
    • Analyze customer preferences, trends, profiles, and purchase histories. Identify factors that influence and are predictive of customer behavior.
    • Compile customer profile data to analyze and report on buying process and buyer personas. Circulate to Marketing team on a quarterly basis.
    • Assist with the administration of the organization’s CRM systems, working with Piper’s internal Sales team and the Piper Dealer network as it relates to CRM training, reporting, and the Customer Profile Surveys.
    • Generate marketing lists; segmentation, contact, and survey reports. Coordinate the administration of NetSuite software integration and processing of leads with guidance and input from the Marketing and Events Manager.
    • Responsible for Social Media presence and campaigns using the following platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc...
    • Coordinate website content (content management) including updating images, specs, dealer contact information, and the addition of new pages for new programs / initiatives. Focus should be on providing dynamic and relevant content that engages the customers.
    • Coordinate the Piper brand ambassador program, which includes onboarding of new ambassadors, regular coordination calls, program analytics and strategic planning.
    • Work with team to create presentations to meet sales or management requirements.
    • Ensure all expenditures for assigned marketing projects and daily responsibilities fall within budget.
    • Design and create department presentations and spreadsheets as requested using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel software.
    • Maintain working knowledge of the Piper product line and competitive issues and positioning.
    • Perform in a team environment that is committed to increasing the prospect base for Piper products.
    • Assist in the coordination of new model introductions, product launches and demo tours as it relates to marketing.
    • Support sales team with aircraft deliveries, aircraft exercise, and product demos as needed.
    • Represent the Company at tradeshows to provide product and brand support as required.
    • Manage special projects as assigned by the Brand Manager, and Marketing Events Manager.
    • Follow all company health and safety procedures.
    • Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:


    This job has no supervisory responsibilities. May be required to train and assist other employees. This position requires periodic travel.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


    • Bachelor’s degree and/ or equivalent work experience required. One year of experience in a marketing role
    • Commercial Pilot License preferred.
    • Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office computer software program is necessary to perform the duties in this position.
    • Must possess excellent communication skills, including personal presentation, email, and telephone interaction.

    The employee must possess the ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers in both written and oral form. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential in this position.
