Summary Description:
The Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) seeks a Director of Digital Marketing (DDM) to develop and execute digital strategies for omni–channel marketing campaigns. This role will lead integrated plans for AMC’s outward facing digital brand and messaging and devise end-to-end digital marketing strategy to meet AMC’s diverse mission and business unit goals. Managing a team responsible for SEO/SEM and closed loop reporting to improve ROI, the DDM will drive digital and technology solutions to achieve greater mission impact, accuracy, and efficacy.
Under the direction of AMC’s Vice President of Communications & Marketing, the DDM will be instrumental in growing and retaining AMC’s member and donor community; driving conservation engagement and awareness; managing external digital consultants; increasing lodging and overnight facilities revenues; and growing outdoor programming participation. This is a full time, exempt position is located in AMC’s headquarters in Boston, MA, and offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
This role is ideal for someone with a love of the outdoors and 6 years of professional digital marketing, including marketing automation, campaign performance analysis, and Google Analytics.
