We are seeking seeking a qualified individual to lead and assist in the development of transportation design projects and plans. The position will work within the Transportation Design Group in our Raleigh office. Projects will involve roadway/highway design, municipal streets, and pedestrian facilities (greenways, multi-use trails) with delivery through alternative and traditional methods. Thorough knowledge of NCDOT design standards and practices and experience in project development work flow are required. This position will also require management and training of support staff. The Transportation Design Project Manager will also be required to regularly interact with clients and public agencies and participate in public meetings and presentations.
The successful candidate for this position will receive a signing bonus equal to 10% of the annual salary given.
