The selected candidate will be able to perform duties supporting the direction and vision of the overall discipline. Oversee, direct, and manage the work effort of assigned staff throughout the Phoenix region for the Traffic Planning Department.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
15 years’ experience, preferably with Transportation Planning/Traffic Engineering and Land Development experience
Professional Engineer’s License (AZ) required, PTOE/PTP preferable
Experience with ADOT/ITE/AASHTO standards/publications
Must have experience preparing Traffic Impact Studies and ADOT Permit applications
Must have excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
Must be able to present before clients and town boardsMust be able to delegate work to junior staff
Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience managing and supervising the work efforts of assigned staff regarding scope, schedule, quality and budget of projects
