Digital Collection Librarian maintains a library's digital collection of books, serials, documents, audiovisuals, or other materials, and assists groups and individuals in locating, obtaining and using materials. Trains others in the creation or preservation of digital resources and the use of the library's digital system(s). Being a Digital Collection Librarian is responsible for the library's open source projects and procures licenses for digital content. Interacts with IT staff in selecting/developing, implementing and maintaining the library's technical infrastructure. Additionally, Digital Collection Librarian requires a master's degree in library science from an ALA-accredited school in a related field. Typically reports to a director. The Digital Collection Librarian manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Digital Collection Librarian typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Hero Digital is looking for a Digital Content Project Manager to join our client’s Marketing Communications group and be an integral part of a team that develops and enhances the customer digital framework for a well known consumer brand. You will be working in a hybrid capacity as the Product Owner and Project Manager collaborating cross functionally to deliver high profile projects across multiple digital platforms on a global scale. This involves overseeing the project from concept through the final launch of the project. Additionally, this role will involve gathering and writing requirements.

    This is a permanent role and will require working Pacific Time Zone hours.

    What You'll Do

    • Be an integral part of a team that produces and supports multiple enterprise level content teams with projects driven by AEM CMS
    • Collaborate cross functionally to deliver high-profile projects across multiple digital platforms on a global scale
    • Oversee the project from initial brief to production, guiding copywriting, and development from brief stage through the final launch of the project
    • Define workflow processes for external and internal CMS users while keeping efficiencies in mind
    • Manage the scope for multiple content driven projects simultaneously
    • Assist in making adjustments to the project timeline, scheduling, and defining priorities
    • Ability to articulate the big picture and overarching mission while maintaining a high attention to detail and tactical execution of complex systems
    • Proactively identify solutions to meet changes in project scope while maintaining the integrity of the creative vision against tight deadlines
    • Balance project scope, priorities and goals with various teams while keeping a clear and constant communication channels open with all stakeholders
    • Schedule handoffs and assure delivery of appropriate assets to teams
    • Provide quality assurance on projects and promote exceptional quality standards on all deliverables
    • Collaborate with Producers to identify and prioritize features or enhancements into the program roadmap

    Who You Are

    • 3 years relevant experience managing large complex content-driven web projects; agency experience preferred
    • Motivated self-starter who dives into details by asking questions, seeking answers with attention to details
    • Experience with enterprise platforms and CMS (AEM preferred) and DAMs.
    • The ability to communicate high-level concepts and overall business direction to stakeholders
    • Experience in marketing, content management and the development of digital communications across multiple channels and platforms end-to-end
    • Ability to distill and simplify complex requests into clear and actionable project plans
    • Able to organize information quickly and summarize succinctly
    • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when changes may be rapid or ambiguous
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines and respond to shifting priorities, schedules, and deliverables across multiple work streams
    • Extremely strong communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to communicate with UI designers and front end developers and a high level understanding of web development principles.
    • Ability to work Pacific timezone hours, with off-hours flexibility during key moments of the year
