Plans menus, inspects food to ensure portions adhere to set restrictions and dietary standards. Being a Dietitian - Home Care requires a bachelor's degree. Requires state license to practice. Additionally, Dietitian - Home Care requires Registered Dietitian (RD). Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Dietitian - Home Care occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Current Registered Dietitian License by CDR and Certification required by State in which services are performed. Must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Bachelor’s degree from an Accredited College or University in dietetics, foods and nutrition, food service systems management, clinical nutrition, or related fields of study. Has completed at least 900 hours of supervised dietitian practices under the supervision of the RD.
