Diesel Mechanic performs inspection, maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of diesel engines. Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems. Being a Diesel Mechanic utilizes computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes. Replaces and/or refurbishes parts. Additionally, Diesel Mechanic maintains maintenance logs according to requirements. Ensures services provided follow all quality standards and safety procedures. May perform DOT annual inspections on vehicles. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically requires Commercial Driver License (CDL) - Class A. Typically requires a Certificate in Automotive & Diesel Technology. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. We are looking to hire an apprentice diesel mechanic. MUST HAVE at least one year experience working on Semi trucks. Employee must be able to pass a drug test and a background check. Full time job position with overtime, available immediately. Employee must be mechanically inclined, motivated to learn, and follow directions. We do not do any type of maintenance work (brakes, oil changes, etc.). Employee must have a driver's license and dependable transportation.
