Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor jobs in Santa Clarita, CA
Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor supervises and coordinates the activities of staff in a diagnostic imaging department such as nuclear medicine, MRI, radiology, computer-assisted tomography or ultrasound. Monitors the adherence to all diagnostic imaging policies, procedures, and services. Being a Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree, certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. To be a Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

Job Description
NEW Permanent Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor opening near Venice, CA!
Coordinates the provision of services for the Department of Imaging; assists in the planning, directing, and coordinating of activities within the department to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Health Center and the Department of Imaging.
Promotes quality service for patients in all Imaging sections.
Required qualifications :
- Completion of an ARRT approved radiologic technologist training program
- California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire -or-
- California Fluoroscopy Certificate / Permit upon hire -or-
- California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire -or-
- California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire -or-
- National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire -or-
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire -or-
- National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists upon hire -or-
- National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire
- 3 years Radiologic Technologist.
- Supervisory or management in hospital or medical setting
