Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor supervises and coordinates the activities of staff in a diagnostic imaging department such as nuclear medicine, MRI, radiology, computer-assisted tomography or ultrasound. Monitors the adherence to all diagnostic imaging policies, procedures, and services. Being a Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree, certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Job Description: The Human Resources Generalist and Coordinator will play a critical role in managing all aspects of HR functions within the organization. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong understanding of HR best practices.
Job Functions:
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures and an employee handbook that are in alignment with company goals, legal requirements, and upper management.
Oversee and complete recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Develop recruitment strategies and utilize recruitment platforms effectively and efficiently.
Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. Utilize the payroll processing platform and other third-party platforms.
Coordinate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and professional development plans.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Provide guidance and support to management and staff on HR-related matters.
Conduct training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and compliance topics.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR management.
Manage and update the ADP home screen with important company information.
Ensure that new policies are signed off by all appropriate personnel and employee files are kept up to date.
Complete off-boarding of all exiting employees.
Respond to unemployment claims, including initial responses and appeals.
Facilitate a positive working environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in the healthcare or medical imaging industry.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and EEOC guidelines.
Demonstrated experience in recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Proven leadership abilities with a focus on fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in ADP.
