Diagnostic Imaging Manager plans and implements the overall diagnostic imaging policies, procedures, and services for several departments which may include nuclear medicine, MRI, radiology, computer-assisted tomography and ultrasound. Ensures efficient and effective departmental operations. Being a Diagnostic Imaging Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Requires a certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additionally, Diagnostic Imaging Manager typically reports to a director. The Diagnostic Imaging Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Diagnostic Imaging Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Radiology Technologist at Radiology Associates, you will play a critical role in our mission to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. You will work closely with our medical team to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while enjoying the benefits of a day shift schedule that promotes work/life balance.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- Certification as a Registered Radiology Technologist R.T., ARRT (R)
- Current State of California License Radiology Technologist (CRT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR in adult, child & infant are required.
HOURS: Radiology Technologists shifts are 4/10 hour work days, with variations as assigned by supervisor. Hours of operation are 6 am - 6 pm Monday - Friday.
