Diagnostic Imaging Manager jobs in Santa Clarita, CA
Diagnostic Imaging Manager plans and implements the overall diagnostic imaging policies, procedures, and services for several departments which may include nuclear medicine, MRI, radiology, computer-assisted tomography and ultrasound. Ensures efficient and effective departmental operations. Being a Diagnostic Imaging Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Requires a certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additionally, Diagnostic Imaging Manager typically reports to a director. The Diagnostic Imaging Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Diagnostic Imaging Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. NEW Permanent Diagnostic Imaging Manager opening near Burbank, CA!
Supervises diagnostic radiology (and medical transportation, as needed) and performs radiographic examinations according to accepted departmental protocols, hospital policy and procedures.
Required qualifications :
- Sufficient for license.
- Upon hire : California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification Or
- Upon hire : California Fluoroscopy Certificate / Permit Or
- Upon hire : California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification Or
- Upon hire : California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification Or
- Upon hire : National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- Upon hire : National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Or
- Upon hire : National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or
- Upon hire : National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists Or
- Upon hire : National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
- Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 5 years of Technical experience with demonstrated progressive levels of responsibility.
- Three (3) or more years of team leadership or supervisory functions
