Diagnostic Imaging Manager jobs in North Dakota
Diagnostic Imaging Manager plans and implements the overall diagnostic imaging policies, procedures, and services for several departments which may include nuclear medicine, MRI, radiology, computer-assisted tomography and ultrasound. Ensures efficient and effective departmental operations. Being a Diagnostic Imaging Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Requires a certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additionally, Diagnostic Imaging Manager typically reports to a director. The Diagnostic Imaging Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Diagnostic Imaging Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Provides accountability to the Radiology Leader for operating and capital budget performance and fiscal responsibilities. Be responsible for the planning, development, implementation of policies, procedures, and systems of the department to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of SMDC Radiology as well as the requirements of Joint Commission, American College of Radiology, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Performs hiring, orienting, counseling, evaluating, and disciplinary actions as warranted. Ensures that staff members are adequately trained and developed. .
Education Qualifications:Educational Requirements:
- Graduate of/or actively seeking a degree from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree (radiologic technology, an allied health/science area, or in a healthcare/business management) and two years of healthcare leadership experience
OR
- Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in supervising/managing radiology clinical operations including proven experience and success with implementing significant organizational change, setting performance measurements, establishing budget plans and monitoring process, strategic planning, program development and implementation and process improvement techniques
