Performs a variety of administrative and patient care duties. Coordinates unit activities and flow of information between the cardiovascular staff and other key entities. Assists the RN staff with patient care responsibilities. Maintains stock and inventory levels for unit.

Hours: Part-time, 0.6 FTE, Day Shift," 24 Hours Per Week

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of a Medical Terminology course within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pharmacology

• Certification by the National Association of Health Unit Coordinators upon hire

• 1 year in health care activities or institutional setting
