RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review all financial aspects of referrals for the market
- Make decisions regarding financial approval or denial of referrals
- Initiate communication with central intake for financial approval
- Coordinate communication of financial information to the community for successful admission
- Perform some data entry related to financial aspects into electronic systems
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience as an admissions coordinator or business office manager in SNF settings
- Familiarity with managed care authorization submission processes
- Proficiency in PointClickCare or similar electronic medical record systems
- Background in skilled nursing facilities (SNF)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Review financial documentation for admission to skilled nursing communities in the assigned market
- Communicate efficiently with financial approvers, liaisons, and communities receiving admission
- Plan, prepare, and communicate financial requirements upon entry into the community
- Perform data entry related to financial aspects into electronic systems
- Ensure adherence to admission timeline by supporting timely inquiries
- Assist all communities in the assigned market with the intake of financial referral documents
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with PRN (as needed) times on evenings, weekends, and holidays as assigned
