The Medical Group Coordinator supports the activities of the Professional Corporation (PC) to meet the requirements of the Santa Cruz Medical Group (SCMG) and outside regulatory agencies. This position supports SCMG with all aspects of Physician and Allied Health Professional Support.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two to three years progressive administrative support experience in a hospital or other medical enviroment.
• High School graduation or equivalent.
• Experience with advanced word processing equipment and computers; Areas of strengths must include decision making, problem solving, communication skills, analytical expertise, and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Administrative healthcare setting or Human Resources, as well as experience in accounting, payroll, and supporting senior level management is desirable. Prefer three years experience in comparable work enviroment.
• Some college preferred AA or BA degree.
• Accounting and payroll functions. Knowledge of database programs and computer query language is highly desirable.
