STRIVE Collegiate Academy is a tuition-free college preparatory charter school serving students of Nashville dedicated to closing the achievement gap between low-income students and their more advantaged peers. We were approved in 2014 by the Metro Nashville Board of Education. STRIVE opened in 2015 with 120 5th graders. We now have about 400 students serving grades 5th-8th grades. STRIVE serves students in the McGavock cluster (Donelson, Hermitage, Old Hickory, and Napier) and are committed to going above and beyond to ensure students are successful in high school, college, and life.

Position Overview
The Fine Arts Teacher will play a pivotal role in establishing fine arts (music or art) at STRIVE. This candidate will need to be someone that can implement the Music or Art curriculum with a joyous culture. The Fine Arts teacher will have an innovative spirit that can bring reading, math, history, and science to life through fine arts. The ability to be adaptive and creative is also imperative.
