    Davis Behavioral Health is seeking a part-time Dual Diagnosis Therapist (LCSW/CMHC/MFT) to work in the Davis County Receiving Center located in Layton, Utah.

    Program Description

    The Davis County Receiving Center is a 23-72 hour alternative to inpatient hospitalization or incarceration that specializes in short-term crisis resolution. This facility provides observation, screening and social detoxification for police drop-offs, emergency department transfers and walk-in crisis services. The primary purpose of the Receiving Center is to provide a short length of stay and a focus on stabilizing the crisis and returning a person to community supports.

    The successful candidates will provide risk assessments, evaluations, safety plans, treatment plans and recommendations for treatment. The successful candidate will be trained and able to complete ASAM dimension criteria as part of the evaluation process?

    The RC therapist will have experience working in a crisis setting, be able to complete risk assessments, safety plans and evaluations within a brief period of time and make clinical recommendations for continued care. The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of completing and executing a pink sheet.

    The successful candidate will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team to include psychiatrists, nurses, recovery support specialists, psych techs and case managers.

    Part-time Opportunities

    DBH is seeking candidates to create a pool of clinicians to jointly cover the following shifts:

    1. Weekend Shifts

    The successful candidates may choose to work swing shift, weekends, or both. Applicants interested in the weekend shifts have the option to work in a part-time, on-site role or provide the required coverage in an on-call role where they must respond to the unit within 30 minutes.

    Schedule/Shifts

    Coverage needs for the part-time/on-call clinician are outlined below:

    12-hour Day Shift

    • Saturday & Sunday
      • 9 am - 9 pm (every other weekend)

    Graveyard

    • Friday 11:00 pm to Saturday 7:00 am
    • Saturday 11:00 pm to Sunday 7:00 am

    Part-time

    The successful candidate is expected to be at the Receiving Center for the entire 12-hour shift.

    Classification

    This position is classified as part-time, non-exempt.

    Compensation

    Part-time

    The part-time swing shift clinician will be compensated on a per-shift basis that is calculated is calculated using a starting hourly rate of $35.34 per hour plus credit for years of full-licensure experience and approved differential.

    • $484 to $565 per 12-hour weekend 9am to 9pm shift based rate range based on years of full-licensure experience.

    Weekend Shift Differential Stipend

    The successful candidate will also receive a $5.00 per hour weekend clinician stipend for all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday. This is included in the compensation information above.

    Under-licensed Clinicians (CSW/ACMHC/AMFT)

    The shift compensation for under-licensed clinicians is $282 per 8-hour shift and $423 per 12-hour shift.

    Required Experience

    Minimum Qualifications

    Master of Social Work degree from an accredited university. Preference given to candidates licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Utah. This position may also be filled with a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC), Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT) or under-filling with a Certified Social Worker (CSW) or Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC) who is nearing completion of full clinical licensure.

    The selected candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening. DBH will not hire individuals currently using illegal drugs or abusing alcohol; therefore, making employment at DBH conditional upon successfully passing pre-employment drug screening by providing a valid sample. Candidates who are offered employment are required to report for a drug screen at an Intermountain WorkMed location within 24 hours of being requested to do so by the DBH Human Resources Department.

    Davis Behavioral Health works with Federal grants and must comply with the Federal drug laws, including no use of medical marijuana.

    Davis Behavioral Health utilizes an electronic medical record, which requires proficiency in computer-related skills.
