Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) Coordinator jobs in Huntington Beach, CA

The Project Accountant will be primarily responsible for the accounting associated with various projects for Related California Residential, including but not limited to:

• Coordinate and oversee billing and invoicing activities for construction projects
• Track costs to the various projects to ensure adherence to budget
• Review weekly payroll reports for accurate job coding
• Pull monthly credit card statements and review backup provided by team
• Enter contracts and change orders into accounting system as they are received
• Work with AP on processing weekly check runs
• Perform monthly bank recs, creating prepaid and amortization schedules and booking the appropriate month end journal entries
• Work with project managers on monthly billings to ensure all costs are captured and allocated appropriately
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations
• Perform month end close process and preparation of Financials
• Assist with audits of construction projects
• Maintain internal controls to ensure safeguarding of company assets and adherence to company standards
• Other tasks to be assigned

Compensation

• $65,000 - $75,000/ year
• Annual performance based bonus

• Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or related fields, CPA candidate preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience, real estate development or construction experience a plus
• Highly intelligent with analytical skills and organizational skills
• Excellent Excel skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills and an effective team player
