    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS A SYSTEM SUPPORT AND TRAINING SPECIALIST

     

    Role Overview:

    The System Support and Training Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the optimization of our onsite community operations and performance excellence. This position is ideal for individuals looking to kickstart their career in the multifamily real estate industry, or a community associate who is looking to expand their viewpoint to a corporate support role. This role will assist in various projects aimed at achieving organizational objectives and contribute to the enhancement of team member performance and customer satisfaction through training initiatives.  This is a community support role and will be required to travel as needed.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    System Support:

    • Assist in coordinating system rollouts, onboarding, and implementations to support onsite community business objectives.
    • Learn to manage system workflows and provide support to ensure optimal functionality.
    • Assist in developing training materials in collaboration with system vendors to meet the learning needs of onsite associates.
    • Participate in conducting knowledge assessments to ensure comprehensive understanding and utilization of systems.
    • Act as the SME for all systems and report out on program performance.

    Process Improvement and Organization:

    • Learn to streamline and optimize processes affecting the community operations team.
    • Support the maintenance of Standard of Excellence materials and communicate changes as required.
    • Assist in conducting feedback surveys to identify areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with team members to support the establishment of formalized processes supporting company objectives.

    Training Support:

    • Assist in the implementation of training programs and initiatives to support organizational initiatives.
    • Support the design and delivery of training sessions, reference materials, and learning paths for all associate positions.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to review current curriculum and maintain departmental resources.
    • Learn to administer and integrate learning technology as required.
    • In partnership with the hiring manager oversee and help devise a successful onboarding plan for all new associates.
    • Report out on training compliance.

     

    Compensation:

    • $55,000 - $65,000 / year
    • with an annual bonus that is tied to performance

    Qualifications

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    • Education: A bachelor's degree in organizational development, instructional design, or a related field is preferred, but not required.

    • Experience: The position will require 1-2 years of prior experience, having experience in training and/or instructional design is crucial. This could include roles such as a training coordinator, instructional designer, or similar positions.

    • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for delivering effective training sessions and creating instructional materials. The ability to convey information clearly and engagingly is vital.

    • Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently

    • Technology Skills: Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS), Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, or E-learning modules.  Adaptability to new technologies and a willingness to learn new tools is also important.

    • Attention to Detail: Creating training materials requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and clarity. 

    • Teamwork and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to work together with cross functional teams.

    • Passion for Learning and Development: A genuine interest in helping others learn and grow, as well as a commitment to personal and professional development, can set a training specialist apart.
