Coordinator of Related Services and Supports
The Coordinator of Related Services will oversee the following divisions: Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, School Psychology and Speech-Language Pathology.
This staff will provide supervision and coaching support to the Leads of these divisions. In addition, this staff will help to ensure that support services and related services are provided in accordance with the student’s IEP. The candidate must also have knowledge of the laws and procedures governing exceptional children’s programming.

Qualifications:
Minimum of a master’s degree in an exceptional children area or administration or equivalent work experience
Minimum of five years of successful experience in an exceptional children area
Current NC license in an exceptional children area or administration
Responsibilities:
Provides supervision, support and guidance for Related Service Leas and staff of school
psychology, occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, audiology
Monitors caseloads and workloads of the support staff and related services providers.
Attends and supports monthly staff meetings for the divisions supervised
Completes evaluations on Lead staff and other related services providers in the district.
Assists with district training that supports staff.
Collaborates with colleges and universities to obtain internship placements.
Provides oversight of the district’s Medicaid reimbursement program by providing training and monitors documentation levels of support staff and related services providers.
Serves as a liaison between the EC Department and private agencies which provide contracted related services personnel for the district.
Participates in regularly scheduled EC Leadership Team meetings, EC Team meetings, and other EC staff meetings as scheduled.
Has a strong knowledge of policies governing students with disabilities.
Works collaboratively and collegially with other EC District staff.
Performs other duties as assigned by the EC Director.
