Development Director manages an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, capital development initiatives, and operations to support the overall organizational development and revenue objectives. Implements donor stewardship programs to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors. Being a Development Director works to develop potential corporate or governmental partnerships and grant funding opportunities. Creates collaborative coordination between staff and internal stakeholders to plan events and communications to increase donor engagement. Additionally, Development Director uses technology to manage and monitor donor information and produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Development Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     Dine Source and North Stone (NS) is looking for a dynamic and successful Director of Operations to join our rapidly growing company. The Director of Operations will be responsible helping the company President provide strategic/tactical leadership and oversight for creating, sustaining, implementing, and driving efficient and effective management processes in support of business objectives. He/she will collaborate with leaders and stakeholders from both the technology division and the business to ensure proper coordination and execution of activities related to the delivery of projects. The position requires significant interaction with cross-functional departments within the company, collaboration across other subsidiaries, and excellent communication and relationship management skills to influence and resolve issues.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Operational Execution:  Manage customer and employee relationships. Work with corporate staff to ensure programs and staff operate as expected; work monthly financials with customers if needed; ensure contracts are managed according to expectations; confers with staff to explain program and individual responsibilities for functions and phases of program. Directs and coordinates personally, or through subordinate managerial personnel, activities concerned with implementation and carrying out objectives of program. Reviews reports and records of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objective and modifies or changes methodology as required to redirect activities and attain objectives. Prepares program reports and control’s expenditures in accordance with budget allocations & program bid targets.
    • Employee Engagement: Develop, execute, and evaluate an internal communications strategy, ensuring that business goals, initiatives and organizational/people news are communicated regularly and effectively. Lead on the development and delivery of an engagement and communications calendar ensuring all initiatives/activities are delivered and communicated about in timely and efficient ways. Deliver end-to-end internal employee engagement plans and campaigns to inspire and engage employees. This will involve supporting senior leaders in their communications efforts in keeping their functions informed of updates and changes in consistent and engaging ways.
    • Business Development: Develop, identify, and assess new growth opportunities within (or adjacent to) existing programs, and position new business resources to achieve growth objectives for DDC-ITS and Red Canyon. Maintain understanding of the Federal and DoD marketplace, buying trends, and capabilities for the IT labor services market within the Federal Agency arena. 
    • Customer / Competitor intelligence: Develop relationships with current and key customers; influence customer planning and clearly articulate to DDC-ITS and Red Canyon business leadership customer needs. Understand competitive landscape and implications to influence capture efforts. Participate in professional/trade association activities, customer events and federal government meetings.

    Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

    • Minimum of BS/BA or equivalent with 10 years of experience in business development and/or operations; IT or Program Management certification a plus.
    • Thorough understanding of complex Federal government procurement requirements and processes.
    • Proven track record of developing key relationships with internal and external partners.
    • Ability to work efficiently and perform multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Experience working with socio economic and small business set asides
    • Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
    • Experience delivering capability to government clients.
    • Ability to pass a standard background check
