Join us in this temporary position supporting our Director of External Affairs and supporting our Development Department with general administrative, clerical, and events assistance including office tasks of telephone inquiries, correspondence, processing invoices, maintaining files and checklists, and serving as liaison with other departments and staff on daily operational matters.
Requires excellent organizational abilities, experienced office work, general knowledge of non-profit fundraising preferred, and demonstrated writing capabilities. Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Photoshop and Raiser’s Edge preferable. Excellent proofreading skills, thoroughness and attention to detail, proficient computer literacy and systems management, ability to anticipate tasks, take initiative and set priorities effectively, are all required skills for the success of effectively supporting the department. BA and museum experience preferred.
