Partner in Publishing is searching for a Field Sales Specialist, K-12, (LA, AR, MS, OK, TN) on behalf of our client, the leading provider of language learning products in K-12 and Higher Education.
The Field Sales Specialist is an education professional who understands the unique needs of K-12 students. A relationship builder who enjoys finding solutions for challenges and who has a sales-oriented mindset, the Field Sales Specialist will play a key role on the K12 Central Region Sales team by managing, supporting and growing customer accounts in Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:Deliver impactful, engaging and customized digital and in-person presentations showing how your learning solutions help teachers and educators overcome challenges in order to achieve learning outcomesDevelop a strong understanding of a customer's needs and use a consultative selling approach to achieve sales goalsEstablish and maintain strong partnerships with key K-12 education professionals and stakeholdersConsistently utilize the CRM (Salesforce) and other tools for effective sales analysis, planning and account managementPartner effectively with internal teams in an effort to provide customers with an excellent experienceDemonstrate a strong understanding of the company's world language, EL and Dual Language products and programsAttend industry events and conduct presentations in order to position the company within the market and generate business opportunitiesKeep in tune with relevant and territory specific market trends
YOU MUST HAVE (MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE)
Associate degree minimum2 years of experience as a K-12 Teacher/Educator or School/District Administrator2 years of experience in sales, sales support, account management, or business developmentStrong technology orientation and experience presenting and/or doing demonstrations to a variety of audiences in-person and virtuallyExperience using a CRM to manage sales and accountsA willingness to travel overnight as needed within the territory to events, conferences and customer sites (50% )
IDEAL IF YOU (PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE)Knowledge of the K-12 State Adoption process, players and resources available within the territory statesExperience with publishing, language learning or similar modern edtech productsAdvanced level knowledge or familiarity with the company's products and siteWorking knowledge of the Spanish languageExcellent relationship building, prospecting, territory building, interpersonal, negotiation and communication skillsBachelor or Advanced degree
LOCATIONRemote: This role requires residence within one of the territory states (Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Arkansas) and willingness to travel throughout the territory without restriction. Candidates must meet this requirement in order to be considered. Relocation is not available for this position.
