Designs page layouts, charts, graphs, and computer graphics. Being a Desktop Publishing Operator selects, imports, and edits graphic images used to enhance the impact of the materials. May require an associate degree. Additionally, Desktop Publishing Operator typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Desktop Publishing Operator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
