Job Title: Workstation Engineer
Location: Allentown PA 18101 (Day 1 Onsite)
Job Description:
· Provide technical support across our enterprise for end-user computing platforms for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, device configuration, technical refresh and break fix
· Broad understanding of Windows 10/11 and mobile operating systems (Ipad /Iphone in corporate setting) and the ability to troubleshoot and lead change in a large complex desktop environment.
· Assess hardware and software malfunctions by means of diagnostic tools and customer input
· Provide technical support assisting workstations, setting up printers, general operating system issues, OS upgrade issues, login or connectivity issues, install new hardware and software or systems and keep track of existing problems
· Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft SCCM, Tanium and Qualys, Zscaler ZPA, Network connectivity and Active Directory will be an added advantage
· Responds to customer requests for service and repairs. Manage and maintain the SLA for Field Service tickets out of Cherwell.
· Strong communicator – Must be able to communicate across all levels of the organization and articulate details of a solution, problem or initiative in both a technical and non-technical context
· Provide excellent customer service, listening carefully to customer concerns and addressing issues until customer is satisfied
· Handle workstation related issues by phone, email and in-person. Should be able to travel to customer/user site if need be and maintaining accurate time and mileage records
· Provide training to the end users
