We're searching for the right Graphic Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you'll create compelling, strategic visuals to communicate big ideas, brand stories, and marketing strategies. Working with our copywriters, senior designers, and creative director, you'll work with photography, typography, and our library of fantastic prints to design emails, ads, site assets, social media posts, and occasional print material. We're looking for an agile, inventive team member who takes initiative, stays flexible, and can conceptualize and execute on big ideas.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Senior Designer and Creative Director to create digital content for ads, emails, and our social media channel
Create strong, emotive compositions using photography, type, and print illustrations
Partner with our copywriters marketing teammates to deliver on-brand, on-brief work
Prep your work in presentation-ready layouts for leadership approval
Be involved in all phases of the creative process -from concept to handoff
Design press-ready creative for marketing and packaging
Develop a deep understanding of the new brand, the product, and the big ideas behind our marketing campaigns
Ask questions, stay curious, and take the initiative
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Graphic or Digital Design (or equivalent knowledge experience)
2 years of in-house or agency experience in a graphic design role
Expert-level skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and the Adobe CC suite
A collaboration, communication, and time management skills working in-person and remotely
A strong portfolio demonstrating your grasp of design theory, marketing, and brand identity
Experience building GIFs for social media and marketing
Rock-solid layout and visual storytelling skills (Email, social media, and paid social ad examples in your portfolio are a plus)
Ability to critically read and execute on written briefs
Strong time-management skills and an eagle-eye attention to detail

Chillicothe (/ˌtʃɪlɪˈkɒθi/ CHIL-i-KOTH-ee) is a city in and the county seat of Ross County, Ohio, United States. Located along the Scioto River 45 miles south of Columbus, Chillicothe was the first and third capital of Ohio.
