    Major Position Responsibilities

    This position will require you to:

    ·       Design high reliability electrical systems to support warfighter needs.

    ·       Generate definition of performance requirements for electrical systems.

    ·       Support product through its development cycle from inception to test and production.

    ·       Plan and support implementation of system integration testing and verification programs to ensure systems meet all requirements, including development of test procedures and how compliance will be demonstrated.

    ·       Generate documentation including formal reports, drawings, specifications, proposals, interface controls and other technical data package items for technical interchange meetings.

    ·       Lead, or work with the project team, labs, suppliers, customers and functional management.

    ·       Perform troubleshooting diagnosis of both development and production components, subassemblies and test equipment.

    ·       Support the evaluation and disposition of obsolete and counterfeit parts.

     

    Assignments may include both engineering development and production support roles, which will require a broad knowledge of the technical specialty and well as detailed product knowledge in order to safely and efficiently perform formal problem root cause analysis, corrective action planning and execution, developing labor and materials budgets, and identifying facility/test equipment needs.

    Work is performed with minimal supervision guided by policies and procedures. There is considerable latitude in making decisions which may have relatively significant impact on the program/project. Clear and concise presentation of technical data at meetings and design reviews to peers, management and customers will be required. May also function in project leadership role on moderately sized project or report to more senior leader on large projects.

    Basic Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    To succeed in this role, you will need the ability to generate definition of performance requirements for electrical systems and develop high reliability systems to support warfighter needs. 

    You must be able to perform troubleshooting diagnosis of components, subassemblies and test equipment. 

    You must be able to communicate your work products through written reports and oral presentations. 

     

    Desired Experience

    • Broad knowledge of electrical applications and technical experience in control, sensor and brushless DC motor control circuits.
    • Proficiency utilizing systems engineering techniques for derivation and documentation of subsystem requirements.
    • Military systems design experience requiring compliance with specifications such as MIL-STD-704 and MIL-STD-461, and DO-254.
    • Hands-on experience troubleshooting components, electrical assemblies and test equipment.
    • Skilled at performing system integration and test.

    • Possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, work effectively within all levels of the organization and in team environments - communicate clearly.
    • Possess familiarity with high reliability electrical, printed circuit board and wiring harness assessment standards.
    • Develop Products through creative design, analysis, fabrication and test
    • Author test plans and reports

    Experience: 

    A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience is required for this position.

     

    Required Education: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

    Pay Range (USD)

    $80,845.98 - $121,268.97

    Additional Compensation

    Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company’s Gain Sharing Program.
