Delivery Truck Driver jobs in North Carolina
Delivery Truck Driver delivers packages or products according to the scheduled route. Follows designated schedule and seeks efficient travel routes. Being a Delivery Truck Driver scans or records packages and maintains documentation of deliveries. Conducts routine vehicle inspections and schedules repairs on vehicles as needed. Additionally, Delivery Truck Driver follows all DOT and company regulations to operate safely. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires a Valid Driver's License. May Require Commercial Driver License (CDL) - Class B. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Delivery Truck Driver works under moderate supervision. Qualifications :
- Must have CDL A and 21 years or older.
- Must have 3 months of verifiable experience.
- Drivers can earn trip pay based on a calculation of dispatched miles that ranges from $.45 to $.60 cpm depending on route and experience.
- Flex Fleet drivers must live within 250 miles of a U.S. Xpress terminal.
