Delivery Truck Driver delivers packages or products according to the scheduled route. Follows designated schedule and seeks efficient travel routes. Being a Delivery Truck Driver scans or records packages and maintains documentation of deliveries. Conducts routine vehicle inspections and schedules repairs on vehicles as needed. Additionally, Delivery Truck Driver follows all DOT and company regulations to operate safely. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires a Valid Driver's License. May Require Commercial Driver License (CDL) - Class B. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Delivery Truck Driver works under moderate supervision. Full Job Description
FedEx Ground CSP is looking ford an energetic individuals to join our delivery team in Georgetown, SC. We offer competitive pay, and paid vacation time. Our delivery areas will be the Georgetown area.
Employees will work around 7 hours or less per day with the shift starting each day at 10:30am. This position will not last long so Apply now to be considered.
COMPENSATION / BENEFITS
- $17-$24/hour
- PAID TRAINING
- ELIGIBLE FOR PAID VACATION AFTER 90 DAYS
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver packages to correct destination
- Use FedEx Ground scanners to keep track of package quantity
- Driver must have excellent time management to effectively complete daily routes
- Work within a physically demanding position that will require bending, twisting, climbing in and out of the delivery truck, and moving packages weighing up to 150 lbs with a dolly.
REQUIREMENTS
- Required Experience: 1 - year of VERIFIABLE driving within the last 3 - years or 5 - years within the last 10 years.
- Valid driver license (CDL NOT Required)
- Work history MUST be verified
- Clean MVR (No excessive speeding tickets, reckless driving, DUI, etc.)
- 21 years of age
- Clean background and willing to complete a drug screen and physical
