Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving deli products, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and prepare deli products according to their specifications
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area
- Stock shelves, refrigerators, and display cases with fresh deli products
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Provide product recommendations and answer customer inquiries
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food products
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the deli department

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a deli or food service setting is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and presentation

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
