Deli Counter Clerk jobs in Burnsville, MN
Deli Counter Clerk responds and attends to customer requests in the deli department within a grocery store. Responsible for various duties including preparing deli food items, weighing and wrapping deli products, and placing food items in display cases. Being a Deli Counter Clerk has knowledge of proper food handling procedures and government regulations regarding food codes. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Deli Counter Clerk typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Deli Counter Clerk may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Essential Functions
Deli staff must be able to work together as a team and be able to work independently if needed.
Maintaining a clean and safe environment for our staff and customers is a must.
Following all health and safety procedures is required at all times.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills with coworkers and customers is key to a successful department.
Previous customer service related experience required.
ServSafe certification is a plus.
Shifts include evenings and weekends.
Must be 18 years of age or more.
