Decision Support Specialist jobs in Longview, TX

GENERAL: The Family Support Specialist (FSS) for the FAYS (Family and Youth Success) services program provides Intake and Assessment, Skills Training, Crisis Intervention, and linking services to FAYS clients. The FSS documents all therapeutic activities and assists the Program Director in any program related duties, as assigned. Skills are required in therapeutic intervention, public speaking, writing, and organization. Reliable transportation required for travel. Ability to work productively within a team structure. Ability to communicate effectively in writing. This position will be in Jacksonville, Texas, office, but could carry a caseload from Anderson, Freestone, and Cherokee counties.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree. Requires at least one (1) year’s experience with youth or families. An additional year of experience may be substituted for each year short of the four years normally required to secure a bachelor’s degree in an accredited institution. Preference will be given to person who is fluent in Spanish and English or who represents a minority population. Must have reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
