Inventory Manager Required Qualifications/Skills

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor's or associate degree.
- Experience conducting tracking and data analysis.
- Product and inventory management certification a plus
- Prior work experience as an inventory manager or in a similar position preferred.
- Sound working knowledge of common inventory management software a plus.
- Knowledge of MS office, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Documents existing inventory process and ensures alignment with company SOPs.
- Keep track and implement latest appropriate trends and technology in the warehouse and inventory control spectrum.
- Serve as senior internal auditor for the success in maintaining ISO certification.
- Work on the implementation of WMS and ASN transmission systems for the company.
- Maintain safety in the warehouse, by adhering to the company safety policies and national regulations according to the legal standards.
- Inventories, efficiencies, delivery, and shipment report maintenance
- Provide inventory logistics, cost containment, and supply chain efficiency strategies to leadership.
- Manage first in – first out inventory process.
- Coordinate inventory preparation and reporting with processing for delivery drivers.
- Maintain lost inventory identification system.
- Monitor QMS with Quality leadership.
- Track and meet the KPIs for inventory control that are set by the company.
- Reconcile inventory disparities.
- Follow best supply chain practices.
- Manage new and standing purchase orders with suppliers.
- Receive, document, and evaluate new stock.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Manage inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels.
- Utilize inventory analysis to maintain appropriate in-house and at-facility inventory levels.
- Maintain efficient and seasonally effected ongoing inventory control procedures.
Working Conditions:
- The Inventory Manager will typically work in an office environment and warehouse environment.
- This role will involve lifting or moving office supplies or equipment and may also involve sitting for extended periods to perform tasks on a computer.
- The Inventory Manager may interact with a diverse range of individuals, including employees, customers, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
